da dobrowin: In case there was anyone who didn’t know, Steven Gerrard has played his last game at Anfield as a Liverpool player and the Reds are now planning a midfield overhaul to compensate.
da betsul: According to Italian magazine Gazzetta dello Sport Liverpool could move for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal as the club are reportedly after Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan so may need to sell him to fund their interest.
Manchester United have been interested in the star for over two years so Liverpool would love to get their hands on him first. Last summer, it seemed to be a done deal that the 27-year-old would be going to Old Trafford but boss Louis van Gaal pulled out of the negotiations as he was concerned about his lingering knee problems which could cause him to miss important Premier League games.
Vidal has been excellent this season for the Champions League finalists and has scored eight goals in all competitions. The Italian side are chasing the treble and the midfielder has been influential in his side’s success with an 86% pass success rate across the board.

The Chilean international has played in every Champions League game this season including scoring once from the penalty sport against Monaco in the first leg of the quarter finals. With this in mind it seems slightly bizarre that Vidal would be interested in heading to Merseyside.
With it looking like Juventus star Paul Pogba is already set to leave the midfield for around 90 million euros, you would think they would have enough to buy Nainggolan from Roma. For Liverpool, the signing would be an impressive one. It has been reported that the Reds are willing to put a £14.4million bid in for the 27-year-old.
The club desperately need someone with a lot of talent to replace club legend, Gerrard but after such a fantastic season in Serie A for a club which has got to the Champions League final for the first time in 12 years it seems hard to believe that that he would be willing to move to a club which cannot offer him Champions League football and still cannot guarantee even Europa League football.
With one game left to go 5th place could still go to Liverpool, Tottenham or Southampton.
After their strong win against Real Madrid, Vidal said that his biggest dream was to win the Champions League and he isn’t going to stop until he succeeds in getting his hands on the trophy. He said, “It is a dream, I have always dreamt of being here.
I watched at home as a boy, and now I am really here. We will try to become champions.” The Chilean has previously spoken about his love for the competition and after playing constantly for Juventus he may not be so keen to move to a club which hasn’t been able to prove itself in the competition since 2005.
There are many transfer rumours that hit the news headlines every time the season comes to an end- some more believable than others. This one is a rumour that will most likely stay a rumour.
Vidal to Liverpool? I think not!
