da cassino online: Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has struggled to get back up to speed ever since his return from nearly a year on the sidelines with a cruciate ligament injury, and it was the same scenario in the clash with Southampton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
da bet sport: The 28-year-old started on the right-hand side of a front three against Saints – although he usually plays on the opposite wing when Theo Walcott is available – but he struggled to make any real impact from an attacking point of view before he was withdrawn in place of Ramiro Funes Mori at half-time, and he came under fierce criticism from his own fans on Twitter.
It now means that the former Crystal Palace wide man has just one goal and no assists in 15 Premier League appearances for the Toffees following his return to first-team action at the end of December, and that isn’t a good enough return if the Merseyside outfit are to push on and progress next season following a disappointing campaign.
While they should have Ademola Lookman and Henry Onyekuru back in their ranks over the summer following a loan spell and injury respectively, Sam Allardyce – or any prospective new manager – may want a slightly more experienced individual, or a player with more quality, out wide.
Here are three wingers Everton must target this summer, with the club needing to sign one of them as an upgrade on Bolasie…
After four seasons with FC Porto, it would be no surprise to see the Algeria international move on to pastures new this summer.
If that is the case, Everton must ensure that they are the running to bring the impressive 28-year-old to Goodison Park to play on the left wing, with the attacker scoring 12 goals and providing a further 10 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese outfit.
There is no doubt that he would bring a bigger threat than Bolasie in terms of goal threat and creativity, while according to WhoScored.com he has successfully completed 201 of the 299 dribbles he has attempted in 39 outings in the Portuguese top flight and the Champions League this term.
Like Bolasie, the Mexico international is capable of playing on either the right or left, although he has made his biggest impact from the latter this season – as per Transfermarkt.
The 22-year-old may not be as experienced as Brahimi, but he has shown the quality he has for the Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven this term with 19 goals and a further 11 assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.
The winger looks to have the quality to make a huge impression in the Premier League, and he would certainly be an upgrade on Bolasie for the Toffees.
Southampton were heavily linked with a move for the Spartak Moscow winger during the January transfer window, but no deal materialised with the Russian club saying the south coast outfit failed to meet their valuation.
The Netherlands international has scored a remarkable 21 goals and provided a further 10 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for Spartak this season, and he showed the quality that he has at the highest level with two goals and two assists in the 5-1 Champions League win against Sevilla back in October.
With plenty of pace, quick feet and and the big goal threat he clearly brings, he could be the ideal upgrade for Bolasie on the left for Everton.
