da wazamba： Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has joined the call for Cesc Fabregas to leave Arsenal and rejoin his former club this summer.
da 888casino： Fabregas, 23, is reported to have told the Gunners of his desire to rejoin his boyhood following seven years in north London.
The £40million-rated Spain international has developed into one of the most complete midfielders in European football during his time in England and Puyol believes he is now tailor-made for the Catalan giants.
Arsenal claim they are yet to receive any official contact from Barcelona for their unsettled skipper.
"Cesc is an excellent player and a great friend. For me, he would be perfect for Barcelona," declared Puyol.
However, Puyol has stressed that Barca must respect Fabregas' contract with the Gunners skipper just 12 months into a five-year contract.
Puyol added:"I've always seen him as an excellent player and a great friend. You'll hardly ever see him get wound up. He's a very calm guy.
"We'd all like to know what his future holds, but right now he has a contract with Arsenal and nobody knows what's going to happen.
