da bet esporte: Sunderland fans are running out of words to describe former goalkeeper Lee Camp, after he made yet another blunder for Birmingham this week.
da dobrowin: You’d be hard pushed to find a player hated more on Wearside than Camp. Oh wait, we’ve forgotten about Jack Rodwell and Papy Djilobodji, but Camp is definitely up there.
The 35 year-old shot-stopper, if you can even call him that, endured a horrific stay at the Stadium of Light, so much so that fans celebrated when he left, wishing Birmingham luck and anointing him the “worst goalkeeper I have ever seen pull on a Sunderland shirt”.
Unsurprisingly, his form hasn’t turned around at St. Andrew’s.
After an embarrassing attempt to keep out Chris Martin’s goal for Derby County at the weekend, he followed it up with something potentially even worse in a 1-0 defeat to Wigan on Tuesday evening.
Anthony Pilkington’s shot from 25 yards wasn’t particularly powerful, in the corner, or even a difficult height for Camp, but somehow it snuck through.
Loads of Black Cats have been revelling in his glory (in a funny kind of way) and reacting on Twitter. Check out some of the best comments down below…
